Chittorgarh was the old capital Mewars, Chittorgarh was stormed and conquered three times in its history and then finally abandoned in favor of Udaipur. In the fort complex, there are impressive temples, palace complexes, and lakes as well as water reservoirs. The view over the surroundings from the old fort walls is overwhelming.
