Manaltheeram Ayurvedic Beach Villag

The Manaltheeram Ayurveda Beach Village is located in Kerala south of Kovalam Beach. It belongs to the well-known and multiple award-winning resort Somatheeram. In the romantic garden area you can enjoy the peace and strength of the sea under palm trees.



The resort has its own experienced team of doctors and therapists and is known for the good quality of Ayurvedic treatments. “Body Purification Therapy” is the cleansing cure that is ideal if you want to experience the beneficial effects of Ayurveda intensively. Everything is included in the comprehensive Ayurveda cure: medical consultations, an Ayurveda diet tailored to your needs, intensive full-body massages, forehead castings, steam baths, Ayurveda medicine and other treatments that are prescribed by the Ayurveda doctor. There are also daily yoga classes and meditation as well as a English Speaking / foreign Language translation of the doctor’s discussion.


Location of Resort

The Manaltheeram Ayurveda Beach Village is located in southern India on the Malabar coast, approximately 25 km south of Trivandrum Airport. The resort is located below the sister resort Somatheeram in a palm grove with a view of the long sandy beach. There are other resorts, smaller shops and restaurants in the vicinity.

The simple bungalows and Kerala houses have a shower/bath/toilet, fan, mosquito net, seating.

Standard Room: Simple rooms in the main building without a sea view.

Kerala House Standard: Kerala houses equipped with South Indian furniture, seating, some with sea views.

Kerala House Deluxe:  Bungalows with more space, separate living room, and bedroom, air conditioning.
